MILESTONES * Hasan Yıldız started wood board trading in Trabzon in 1890s. * In early 1930's, Yıldız family migrating from Trabzon to Samsun-Bafra had established their first timbering workshop. Salih Yıldız had undertaken the administration. * After 1957, they continued their business in Samsun. Besides timber dealing, they began to sell other forestry products. * In 1972, by establishing Yıldız Mobilya A.Ş., first step for being a corporate company had been taken. The Company began to import lumber and sell. Furthermore, sales of products such as chipboard, plywood, etc. were initiated in the Black sea Region. * In 1990, as a requirement of integrity understanding a new ring was added: a ADHESIVE ADHESIVE plant was established in Samsun under the name of Yıldız Kimya A.Ş. * In 1996, upon increase in production of chipboard and MDF industry, second ADHESIVE ADHESIVE plant was commissioned in İzmit. * 2001 became a milestone for the Company. The Company established a MDF plant with a capacity of 1000 m³/day and initiated the production. * In 2002, for the power demand of the company, investment of 6,2 MW power production of the Company had been completed. * In 2004, the investment of MDF Profile was completed. * In 2004, the first Laminate Flooring facility production was realized under the brand of Varioclic. * In 2005, second MDF plant with a capacity of 1000 m³/day was commissioned for production. * In 2006, production of MDF Door was initiated under the brand of Variodor. * In 2006, 2nd Laminate Flooring investment was completed. * In 2007, the Company completed its third MDF plant investment and broke its own record by a capacity of 3,500 m³/day. * In 2007, the investment of 12.4 MW cogeneration was completed for the increasing energy need. * In 2008, the investment of painted backrest-painted, Lacqured Flooring and plate-painted was completed. * In 2008, the Investment of (two) Impregnate plants was completed. * In January 2009, the investment of American Door (Doorskin) plant of Turkey was completed. |
